Responsibilities:

• Supervise and interact with children in our Kids Club, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts that promote physical activity, creativity, and socialization.
• Maintain a clean and organized Kids Club environment, including sanitizing toys and equipment regularly and following all health and safety guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child's activities and addressing any concerns or questions in a professional and courteous manner.
• Collaborate with other Kids Club staff members to ensure smooth operations and a positive experience for all children and families.
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding childcare facilities, including completing required background checks and training programs.
• Responsible for maintaining all spaces and striving to keep them looking new. 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in childcare or early childhood education preferred.
• Previous experience working with children in a childcare, educational, or recreational setting, with a genuine passion for making a positive impact on their lives.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children, parents, and coworkers.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a positive and energetic attitude.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate the needs of our members and their families.
• Background checked and meets all requirements for this type of position in Texas, including any necessary certifications or training.
